About this role
A part-time Registered Nurse role on a day-shift inpatient unit at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and ensuring protocol compliance.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies to support understanding and adherence.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and maintain effective interdisciplinary communication.
- Respond promptly to code situations, provide stabilizing interventions, and maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience (preferred).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to apply abstract reasoning to patient care.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); basic computer proficiency in Windows-based programs.
