AdventHealth Altamonte Springs is hiring a PRN Emergency Department Registered Nurse for its hospital campus in Altamonte Springs, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for ED patients - Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions - Respond promptly to code situations, providing stabilizing interventions - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and maintain effective communication - Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required) - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred) - BLS/CPR certification (required) - 1+ year of acute care hospital experience (preferred) - EKG interpretation skills per unit requirements - TNCC, PEARS, or other emergency/critical care certifications (preferred) ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hr (approx. $65,582–$108,659 annualized) - PRN/per-diem scheduling with day shift availability - Access to AdventHealth's professional development and performance improvement programs ### About the practice AdventHealth Altamonte Springs is a full-service acute care hospital located at 601 E Altamonte Dr, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health networks in the United States.
