About this role

A full-time night-shift Registered Nurse role at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs, a faith-based health system located in Altamonte Springs, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors. - Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care. - Respond to code situations promptly, providing necessary interventions to stabilize patients. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Current BLS/CPR certification (required). - 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred). - EKG competency per unit-specific requirements. - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and abstract reasoning skills. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour ($65,582–$108,659 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Altamonte Springs is part of AdventHealth, a large faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states.
