About this role

A full-time Registered Nurse in the Ortho Trauma Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at AdventHealth Orlando's Ginsburg Tower in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Assess and interpret diagnostic data — including lab results, non-invasive monitoring, and interdisciplinary notes — relative to patient age and condition. - Make clinical decisions and implement nursing interventions based on diagnoses and actual or potential patient health needs. - Develop individualized plans of care with measurable short- and long-range goals, then revise them as patient status changes. - Complete timely, holistic assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors. - Perform EKG competency testing appropriate to the ortho trauma PCU patient population. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida RN license (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Current BLS/CPR certification (required). - Demonstrated EKG competency. - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and team collaboration skills. - Effective verbal and written communication with problem-solving ability in a fast-paced inpatient environment. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.53 – $52.24 (approximately $65,582 – $108,659 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance starting Day One. - Paid time off starting Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Whole-person well-being and mental health resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Orlando operates one of the largest faith-based, not-for-profit hospital systems in the country, with its flagship campus at 601 E.
