About this role

AdventHealth Redmond is hiring a contract PCU Registered Nurse for night shifts (36 hours/week) at its inpatient facility in Rome, Georgia. ### What you'll do - Conduct ongoing assessments of progressive care unit patients and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care aligned with interdisciplinary goals. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols. - Collaborate with physicians, staff, and families to facilitate timely patient admission, discharge, and transfer. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans based on assessed learning needs. - Ensure safe handoff communication, accurate documentation, and compliance with CDC isolation guidelines and PPE protocols. - Serve as a patient advocate, upholding patient rights and participating in quality and safety improvement initiatives. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia. - Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting. - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Current BLS/CPR certification (required). - Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification (preferred). - Proficiency in English (read, verbal, and written) and basic computer navigation skills. ### What's included - Base pay rate of $52.50/hour plus night shift differential. - 36-hour-per-week contract schedule on nights. ### About the practice AdventHealth Redmond is a full-service community hospital located in Rome, Georgia, operating as part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest nonprofit faith-based health systems in the United States.
