About this role

AdventHealth Redmond is hiring a contract PCU Registered Nurse for day shifts (36 hours/week) at its acute care facility in Rome, Georgia. ### What you'll do - Conduct thorough, ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans aligned with interdisciplinary goals. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining strict adherence to patient safety protocols. - Implement and document care plan interventions in a safe and timely manner, ensuring accurate handoff communication. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans based on assessed learning needs. - Collaborate with physicians, staff, and families to support timely patient admission, discharge, and transfer. - Uphold regulatory compliance, CDC isolation guidelines, proper PPE use, and hand hygiene standards. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia. - Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Current BLS/CPR certification required. - Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred. - Strong critical thinking, abstract reasoning, and English communication skills (verbal, written, and reading). ### What's included - Contract rate of $52.50/hour (36 hours per week). - Day shift schedule supporting work-life balance. - StaffFlex contract structure with defined hours and predictable scheduling. ### About the practice AdventHealth Redmond is a faith-based acute care hospital located in Rome, Georgia, part of the AdventHealth network — one of the largest not-for-profit Protestant health systems in the United States.
