About this role

A Network Access Center Specialist I handles consumer inquiries and access coordination for AdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based health system based in Tampa, Florida. ### What you'll do - Resolve consumer inquiries at first interaction using established workflows, scripting, and department greetings - Verify and accurately capture demographics, insurance information, and authorization details - Document all interactions thoroughly and update consumer records in CRM, EHR, and telephony systems - Handle sensitive matters with professionalism and escalate to leadership when appropriate - Meet individual performance objectives including quality assurance scores and productivity targets - Adhere to department policies, procedures, and HIPAA regulations ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred - Minimum 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with aptitude to learn CRM, telephony, and EHR platforms - Strong attention to detail with ability to listen and document notes simultaneously - Medical terminology knowledge preferred; bilingual in Spanish preferred - Certified Medical Interpreter (CMI) credential preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $33,010–$52,790 annually ($15.87–$25.38/hr) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Pet benefits and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating hospitals, clinics, and access centers across multiple states.
