A Network Access Center Specialist I handles consumer inquiries and access coordination for AdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based health system based in Tampa, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Resolve consumer inquiries at first interaction using established workflows, scripting, and department greetings
- Verify and accurately capture demographics, insurance information, and authorization details
- Document all interactions thoroughly and update consumer records in CRM, EHR, and telephony systems
- Handle sensitive matters with professionalism and escalate to leadership when appropriate
- Meet individual performance objectives including quality assurance scores and productivity targets
- Adhere to department policies, procedures, and HIPAA regulations
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with aptitude to learn CRM, telephony, and EHR platforms
- Strong attention to detail with ability to listen and document notes simultaneously
- Medical terminology knowledge preferred; bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Certified Medical Interpreter (CMI) credential preferred
