About this role
A full-time day-shift Registered Nurse role on the Heart, Neuro, and Vascular unit at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication across the care team.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience preferred.
- EKG competency per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills; team-oriented approach to patient care.

- Pay range: $32.50–$60.45/hr ($67,600–$125,736 annualized).
