AdventHealth East Orlando is hiring a Senior Nursing Manager for its Emergency Department in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Oversee ED staff performance, manage hiring, orientation, scheduling, and disciplinary processes to maintain a high-functioning team.
- Manage unit budget and resources, applying healthcare finance principles to sustain appropriate staffing levels.
- Lead performance and quality improvement initiatives, implementing evidence-based practice changes and ensuring compliance with professional and hospital standards.
- Mentor and develop nursing staff, supporting adherence to clinical practice models and ongoing professional education.
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration across departments, maintaining constructive relationships with patients, families, physicians, and vendors.
- Develop and implement unit policies, procedures, and process improvement plans in partnership with the interdisciplinary team.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Nursing preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of ED clinical nursing experience.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing management or leadership experience.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
