Registered Nurse Ortho Trauma PCU Per Diem Nights

A per-diem night-shift Registered Nurse is needed for the Orthopedic Trauma Progressive Care Unit at AdventHealth Orlando in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, and sociocultural factors for ortho-trauma PCU patients - Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies to support compliance and recovery - Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments to coordinate care, ensuring clear communication across the team - Respond promptly to code situations, providing stabilizing interventions and maintaining accurate, timely medical record documentation ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license — required - Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) — required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) — preferred - Current BLS/CPR certification — required - Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience — preferred - Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification — preferred - Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to delegate effectively within the care team ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.53 – $52.24 (approximately $65,582 – $108,659 annualized at 2,080 hours) - PRN/per-diem schedule with night shift availability - Access to AdventHealth's professional development and performance improvement programs ### About the practice AdventHealth Orlando is a large faith-based health system operating a flagship tertiary medical center at 601 E.
