### What you'll do
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring equipment is clean, stocked, and cleared through routine safety checks.
- Educate patients and family members on MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions to promote cooperation and comfort.
- Position patients accurately using appropriate coil placement and immobilization techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare and administer IV contrast material per safety protocols and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Perform and document daily system quality control checks in compliance with departmental policies and regulatory standards.
### What we're looking for
- Active Texas MRT license (required).
- ARRT registration in MRI — R.T.(MR)(ARRT) — or ARMRIT certification (required).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate degree preferred.
- 1+ years of radiology experience with completion of an MRI training program (preferred).
- Demonstrated knowledge of MRI procedures, scanner operation, and patient safety protocols.
### What's included
- Flat PRN rate of $47.58/hour with no on-call requirement.
- Pay range posted at $29.60–$55.05/hour for budgetary reference.
- Monday–Friday daytime coverage; no weekend or call obligation.
