About this role
A full-time night-shift Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse role at AdventHealth Lenexa City Center, located in Lenexa, Kansas.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and following hospital protocols.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies to support compliance and understanding.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate care and maintain accurate, timely medical record documentation.
- Respond to code situations promptly, providing stabilizing interventions and supervising delegation of care to team members.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Associate's Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills with ability to revise care plans based on patient outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows-based programs and electronic medical records navigation.
- Additional certifications (TNCC, CCRN-E, ONS, SCRN, etc.) preferred depending on unit assignment.

- Hourly pay range: $32.50–$60.45 (approximately $67,600–$125,700 annually).
