About this role

AdventHealth Millenia ED in Orlando, Florida is hiring a Senior Nursing Manager to lead operations and clinical oversight for its Emergency Department. ### What you'll do - Oversee staff performance, hiring, orientation, scheduling, and disciplinary processes across the ED unit - Manage department budget and resources, including staffing levels and healthcare finance accountability - Lead performance and quality improvement initiatives, implementing evidence-based practice changes in alignment with professional standards - Mentor and develop nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical practice models and organizational policies - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and process improvement plans - Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians to drive patient-centered care delivery ### What we're looking for - Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, active and in good standing (required) - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required); Master of Science in Nursing (preferred) - Minimum 2 years of ED clinical experience (required) - Minimum 2 years of nursing management experience (required) - BLS/CPR certification (required) - Demonstrated competencies in human resources, financial management, critical thinking, and leadership ### What's included - Salary range: approximately $65,582–$159,090 per year - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave - Career development and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Millenia ED is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
