About this role
An RN is needed for the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the day shift at AdventHealth Redmond in Rome, Georgia.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and lifestyle factors for cardiovascular PCU patients.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and ensure clear communication.
- Respond promptly to code situations, providing interventions to stabilize patients and maintaining compliance with infection control and safety standards.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
- Additional certifications such as CCNS, TNCC, or CCRN-E are a plus.
- Ability to work 3×12-hour day shifts (7am–7pm) with rotating weekends.

- Hourly pay range: $30.40–$49.93 (approximately $63,232–$103,854 annually).
