About this role

AdventHealth Winter Garden is hiring a Senior Nurse Manager for its Emergency Department in Winter Garden, Florida. ### What you'll do - Oversee staff performance, manage hiring, orientation, scheduling, and disciplinary processes for the ED nursing team - Manage unit budgets and resources, maintaining financial accountability and appropriate staffing levels - Lead performance and quality improvement initiatives, implementing evidence-based practice changes to enhance patient outcomes - Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and compliance standards aligned with hospital and professional guidelines - Mentor and educate nursing staff, supporting clinical development and adherence to practice models - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, patients, and families to ensure patient-centered care delivery ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license [Required] - Bachelor of Science in Nursing [Required]; Master of Nursing [Preferred] - 2+ years of ED clinical experience [Required] - 2+ years of nursing management experience [Required] - BLS/CPR certification [Required] - Demonstrated competencies in HR management, financial management, performance improvement, and clinical leadership ### What's included - Salary range: approximately $65,582–$159,090 per year - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Whole-person well-being and mental health resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Winter Garden is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, mission-driven health system committed to whole-person care across body, mind, and spirit.
