AdventHealth Lake Wales is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a mid-shift schedule (1:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.) at its Lake Wales, Florida hospital. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate health status and identify care needs - Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders, following established safety protocols - Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred - Current BLS/CPR certification required - Prior Emergency Department experience preferred ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.53 – $50.40 (approximately $65,582 – $104,832 annually) - $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates - $10,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources, whole-person well-being support, and pet benefits ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Wales is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
