About this role
An OR RN is needed for night-shift StaffFlex contract assignments at AdventHealth Littleton, located in Littleton, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Deliver competent, compassionate perioperative nursing care to surgical patients during night shifts in the OR.
- Assist physicians with bedside and surgical procedures and manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Administer medications accurately as ordered and respond to unit and hospital code situations.
- Provide patient and family education from admission through discharge, including medications, procedures, and discharge instructions.
- Document nursing education, patient responses, and outcomes; initiate referrals to healthcare providers as needed.
- Evaluate and revise the nursing care plan based on patient outcomes to ensure safe, competent care delivery.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC also required.
- Associate degree in nursing (minimum).
- Strong abstract reasoning skills to assess patients, evaluate interventions, and revise care plans.
- Proficiency with Windows-based computer programs and fluency in written and spoken English.
