About this role

A part-time Cardiac RN position is available at Texas Health Huguley Hospital, an AdventHealth facility located in Burleson, Texas. ### What you'll do - Deliver cardiac-unit nursing care, applying knowledge of diagnoses, medications, procedures, and equipment specific to the cardiac patient population - Perform timely, comprehensive patient assessments — physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual — and adjust plans of care accordingly - Interpret diagnostic data including lab results, EKG findings, and non-invasive monitoring relative to patient age and condition - Assist with stress testing and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team, including structured hand-off and hourly rounding - Participate in practice changes, process improvement initiatives, and required continuing education per ANA Scope and Standards ### What we're looking for - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license - BLS and ACLS certifications required - EKG interpretation knowledge required - Experience assisting with stress testing and transesophageal echocardiograms preferred - 1+ year of nursing experience preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $33.65 – $62.59/hr (~$69,992 – $130,187 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of fully paid parental leave - Career development and continuing education support ### About the practice Texas Health Huguley Hospital is a faith-based acute care hospital in Burleson, Texas, operating under the AdventHealth system with a mission centered on whole-person care.
