About this role

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit at its Lenexa City Center facility in Lenexa, Kansas. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and lifestyle factors for ICU patients. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care across the unit. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required. - 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred. - EKG competency and advanced life support credentials per unit requirements. - Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills with effective written and verbal communication. ### What's included - $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. - Pay range: $32.50–$60.45/hour ($67,600–$125,736 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Lenexa City Center is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based nonprofit health network committed to whole-person care across body, mind, and spirit.
