About this role
AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a full-time RN for its Critical Care Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the day shift at its Tampa, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on findings and medical diagnoses.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established critical care protocols and advanced clinical skills.
- Interpret EKGs and apply critical care competencies aligned with the unit's patient population requirements.
- Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff while collaborating with the broader care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- Critical care clinical skills appropriate to the PCU patient population.
- EKG knowledge with ability to interpret rhythm strips; formal EKG certification preferred.
- Proficiency with EMR systems; experience with Cerner or EPIC preferred.
### What's included
- Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annualized).
