About this role
AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a full-time RN for the Critical Care Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the day shift at its Tampa, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on findings and medical diagnoses.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans to optimize outcomes.
- Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established critical care protocols and advanced clinical skills.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- Critical care or specialty area nursing experience preferred.
- EKG knowledge appropriate to patient population required; Basic EKG Certification preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and EMR documentation skills required; Cerner or EPIC experience preferred.

- Hourly pay range of $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annualized).
