### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive post-anesthesia assessments covering physiological, psychological, and developmental status upon patient arrival to the PACU.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring closely for adverse reactions during the recovery phase.
- Develop and continuously revise individualized care plans based on patient response and established standards of care.
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to coordinate handoffs and optimize patient transitions through the recovery unit.
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care, medications, and self-care expectations prior to discharge.
- Respond promptly to code situations and provide stabilizing interventions as required.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to revise care plans based on patient outcomes.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written) with basic computer proficiency.
