About this role
AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist at its Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Innovation Tower location in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using evidence-based techniques and standardized assessment tools.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with best practice standards, insurance guidelines, and patient goals.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, expected outcomes, adaptive equipment, and discharge planning.
- Oversee care delivered by certified occupational therapy assistants and rehabilitation aides per regulatory and practice standards.
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and charges accurately and timely using CPT coding and objective terminology.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Occupational Therapist license (or Temporary OT license) required.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
- 3–5 years of OT clinical experience preferred; new graduates considered.
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain productivity standards and adapt scheduling to meet patient census needs.

- Salary range: $65,623–$122,055 annually.
