Pharmacy Technician III Certified

A Pharmacy Technician III Certified role is open at AdventHealth's outpatient pharmacy center in Orlando, Florida, supporting a large faith-based health system. ### What you'll do - Independently prepare and dispense patient-specific medication doses, verifying drug, dose, dosage form, expiration dating, and barcode accuracy - Compound and manage complex sterile preparations — including chemotherapy and hazardous formulations — in compliance with USP <795>, <797>, and <800> guidelines - Cover at least one advanced pharmacy practice area such as hazardous cleanroom compounding, CII safe management, medication history, or decentralized clinical support - Manage medication inventory operations: ordering, stocking, receiving, rotating, and removing expired product while maintaining perpetual inventory counts - Conduct controlled substance audits, reconciliation, and diversion-prevention activities - Monitor medication storage integrity, including cold chain custody and quarantine areas for expired medications ### What we're looking for - Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) — required - Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) — required - Minimum 1 year of contemporary hospital, retail, or ambulatory pharmacy experience - High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate degree or completion of a pharmacy technician training program (preferred) - Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills - Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and work effectively under pharmacist supervision ### What's included - Pay range: $18.14–$29.02/hour (~$37,731–$60,362 annually) - Sign-on bonus: up to $2,500 - Relocation bonus: up to $2,500 - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one; four weeks 100% paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care. The pharmacy supports both production-floor and parenteral nutrition (PN) compounding operations.
