About this role

AdventHealth is hiring a part-time Occupational Therapist at its East Orlando outpatient clinic located at 7975 Lake Underhill Road, Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using evidence-based techniques and established standards of practice. - Establish, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans including goal setting, treatment activities, and frequency of care. - Document patient progress accurately and completely in the electronic medical records (EMR) system using measurable, objective terminology. - Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic activities and discharge recommendations. - Oversee care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides per regulatory and practice standards. - Support community outreach through participation in educational lectures and community events. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Occupational Therapist license (or Temporary OT license) — required. - BLS/CPR certification — required. - Master's degree in Occupational Therapy — preferred. - Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential — preferred. - Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office suite. - Bilingual Spanish communication skills — preferred. ### What's included - Pay range: \$31.55–\$58.69/hr (approximately \$65,624–\$122,075 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Flexible scheduling: approximately 20 hours per week with shift windows of 7am–6pm or 10am–7pm on weekdays. ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
