Basic X-Ray Machine Operator

A Basic X-Ray Machine Operator role at AdventHealth CentraCare in Lake Mary, Florida, supporting outpatient radiologic procedures across multiple clinic locations. ### What you'll do - Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and implement radiation safety and infection control protocols - Set up and operate radiographic equipment; select appropriate ionizing factors and adjust radiographic controls - Position patients and perform x-rays of specified body parts as ordered by the treating physician - Process film, assess image clarity, and retake images when quality standards are not met - Maintain x-ray film files, patient records, daily logbooks, and monthly reports - Perform quality and quantity control checks on x-ray equipment to ensure compliance with state regulations and company policy ### What we're looking for - Active Basic X-Ray Machine Operator (BMO) certification (required) - Current BLS/CPR certification (required) - High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's Degree in radiologic technology from an accredited program (preferred) - Minimum 1 year of basic x-ray operator experience (preferred) - Ability to float to other FHMG practice locations as patient volume requires - Strong written and verbal English communication skills ### What's included - Pay range: $38,584–$61,734 annually ($18.55–$29.68/hr) - Sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One; 4 weeks 100% paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth CentraCare operates urgent and primary care clinics across Central Florida, providing accessible outpatient services to the communities it serves.
