Registered Nurse Infusions PRN Days

AdventHealth Avista is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse for its Infusion unit in Louisville, Colorado. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, and sociocultural factors to guide individualized care plans. - Administer medications and infusion treatments accurately per physician orders, monitoring patients for adverse reactions throughout therapy. - Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies to support compliance and understanding. - Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care. - Maintain timely, accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record. - Respond promptly to code situations, providing stabilizing interventions as required. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Colorado. - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required). - Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience (preferred). - Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Windows-based programs and electronic medical record systems. ### What's included - Pay range: $34.26–$59.24/hour (approximately $71,261–$123,219 annualized equivalent). - PRN day-shift scheduling with flexibility. - Access to AdventHealth's professional development and performance improvement programs. ### About the practice AdventHealth Avista is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system serving communities across the United States.
