Assistant Nurse Manager ICU and Infusions FT Days Avista

AdventHealth Avista is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for its ICU and Infusions unit, located in Louisville, Colorado. ### What you'll do - Perform venous access procedures and administer infusion therapy, adjusting care plans based on patient responses - Assess patients to determine appropriate venous access methods and manage complications as they arise - Monitor nursing staff performance, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to maintain clinical standards - Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing unit data and implementing strategies to enhance patient care and operational efficiency - Mentor and precept new staff through hands-on training and professional development support - Ensure compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and hospital policies across the ICU and Infusions unit ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and current BLS certification (required) - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred - Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care setting (preferred) - Minimum 1 year of charge nurse or relevant leadership experience (preferred) - Strong critical thinking skills and ability to manage unit-level financial and productivity practices - Preferred certifications include CRNI, VA-BC, CCNS, or PCCN ### What's included - Pay range: $38.54–$71.69/hour ($80,163–$149,115 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Whole-person well-being and mental health resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Avista is a full-service hospital located in Louisville, Colorado, part of the AdventHealth system — a faith-based, nonprofit health network operating across multiple states.
