About this role
AdventHealth Zephyrhills is hiring a full-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for the day shift (7a–7p) at its hospital in Zephyrhills, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner/EPIC)
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment data and medical diagnoses
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following patient-safety protocols
- Interpret EKG rhythms and apply advanced life support skills appropriate to the ED patient population
- Prioritize and manage multiple patients simultaneously in a fast-paced critical-care environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to evaluate interventions and revise care plans based on patient outcomes
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida RN license (required)
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); BSN preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
- EKG knowledge and ability to interpret rhythms for the ED population
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
- CEN, TNCC, or CCNS certification preferred; prior Cerner or EPIC experience a plus

- Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (approx. $65,582–$108,659 annually)
