About this role

AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for its Pediatric Emergency Department at the Memorial Medical Parkway campus in Daytona Beach, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform and oversee venous access procedures and infusion therapy, adjusting care plans based on patient response - Assess pediatric ED patients to determine appropriate venous access methods and manage complications - Monitor nursing staff performance, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to maintain clinical standards - Lead unit-level quality improvement initiatives by analyzing data and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes - Mentor and precept new staff through hands-on training and ongoing professional development - Ensure unit compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and hospital policies ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — required - Associate's degree in Nursing — required; Bachelor's degree preferred - BLS/CPR certification — required - 1+ year of acute care nursing experience — preferred - 1+ year of charge nurse or relevant leadership experience — preferred - Specialty certifications (PEARS, CRNI, CCNS, or similar) — preferred ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $33.99–$63.22 ($70,699–$131,498 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance — effective Day One - Paid Time Off — effective Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave - Career development and continuing education support ### About the practice AdventHealth Daytona Beach is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system serving the greater Volusia County region.
