About this role
Part-time Registered Nurse position on the Cardiovascular Post Procedure Unit at AdventHealth Daytona Beach in Daytona Beach, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive physiological, psychological, and sociocultural assessments and develop individualized care plans for cardiovascular post-procedure patients.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and adjusting interventions based on patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, post-procedure care, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and maintain effective communication.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, care activities, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
- Respond to code situations promptly, providing stabilizing interventions and supervising delegated care within the team.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred.
- EKG interpretation skills per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking abilities with fluency in English.
