About this role

AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for its Medical ICU at the Daytona Beach, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Supervise and evaluate ICU nursing staff performance, deliver feedback, conduct appraisals, and execute improvement plans - Lead unit-level quality improvement initiatives by analyzing outcomes data and implementing evidence-based strategies - Perform and oversee venous access procedures and infusion therapy, adjusting care plans based on patient response - Mentor and precept new nursing staff through hands-on training and structured professional development - Resolve staff conflicts using mediation techniques to sustain a cohesive, high-functioning team - Ensure unit compliance with regulatory, accrediting body, and hospital policy standards ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required) - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred - BLS/CPR certification required - Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred - Minimum 1 year of charge nurse or relevant leadership experience preferred - Preferred certifications include CCNS, CRNI, PCCN, or VA-BC ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $33.99–$63.22 (approximately $70,699–$131,498 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off starting Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave - Career development and continuing education resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Daytona Beach is a faith-based, full-service acute care hospital located at 301 Memorial Medical Pkwy in Daytona Beach, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system.
