About this role
A full-time night-shift Med/Surg RN position at AdventHealth Daytona Beach, located in Daytona Beach, Florida, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, and sociocultural factors and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and ensuring protocol compliance.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and maintain clear team communication.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
- Respond promptly to code situations and supervise or delegate care activities to other healthcare team members.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- A minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficiency navigating Windows-based computer programs and EHR documentation.
