About this role

AdventHealth Redmond is hiring a full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for day-shift hospital coverage in Rome, Georgia. ### What you'll do - Perform respiratory and oxygen delivery therapies, selecting the most efficient delivery method per protocol - Initiate, maintain, transport, and monitor mechanical ventilators using conventional ventilation modes - Obtain, analyze, and report arterial blood gas and co-oximetry findings; conduct quality controls as needed - Perform airway maintenance including manual resuscitation, pharyngeal airway insertion, and suctioning - Respond immediately to Code Blue emergencies and administer CPR per AHA standards - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess therapy efficacy and recommend adjustments per department protocol ### What we're looking for - Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science (required) - State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license (required) - BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association (required) - NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (preferred; must be maintained as a condition of employment) - Competency across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations - 1+ year of critical care experience (preferred) ### What's included - Pay range: $22.66–$42.14/hr ($47,133–$87,651 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off effective Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Continuing education and career development resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Redmond is a faith-based, not-for-profit hospital serving the Rome, Georgia community as part of the AdventHealth system.
