About this role
AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Mammography Technologist for day shifts at De Victoria Medical Park in DeLand, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform 2D and 3D mammography exams, positioning patients and adjusting technical factors and compression to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
- Follow all MQSA, FDA, and ACR guidelines, including quality control testing, equipment performance checks, and required documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and the breast imaging team to ensure accurate imaging and timely communication of results or next steps.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the EMR and PACS systems.
- Participate in patient tracking and follow-up, including recall coordination, additional imaging, and biopsy scheduling.
- Support breast center initiatives such as accreditation preparation, community screening events, and quality improvement activities.
### What we're looking for
- Active ARRT registration in both Radiography RT(R) and Mammography RT(M) required.
- Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MQSA, ACR regulations, and radiation safety principles (ALARA).
- Proficiency with PACS and EMR systems preferred.
