About this role
AdventHealth Parker is hiring a contract PCU Cardiovascular RN for night shifts at their inpatient facility in Parker, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Conduct ongoing assessments of cardiovascular PCU patients and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care aligned with interdisciplinary goals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans based on assessed learning needs.
- Coordinate safe patient admissions, discharges, and transfers in accordance with hospital policy.
- Ensure safe handoff communication and accurate documentation at each care transition.
- Follow CDC isolation guidelines, apply appropriate PPE, and enforce infection control and safety regulations.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- PALS and TNCC certifications preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to revise plans of care based on patient outcomes.
