About this role

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant for its Electrophysiology clinic in North Port, Florida. ### What you'll do - Prepare patients and equipment for treatment, initiate testing, and document results in the designated practice system - Perform clinical intake including screenings, history taking, vital signs, and medication reconciliation - Administer medications and assist with minor EP-related procedures, ensuring accurate same-day documentation - Educate patients on tests, medications, and diet with clear, accurate instructions - Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and medical equipment to support uninterrupted clinic operations - Travel to satellite locations within the area as needed to support staffing and clinic continuity ### What we're looking for - Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related clinical work experience (preferred) - Familiarity with medical terminology, chronic disease management, and EMR/computer systems - Ability to work independently within certification scope in a fast-paced outpatient environment ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $17.11–$27.38 ($35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states, with a mission centered on whole-person care.
