About this role

A full-time day-shift Registered Nurse role on the Behavioral Health unit at AdventHealth South Orlando, located at 601 E. Rollins St., Orlando, FL 32803. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors for each patient. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans in alignment with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, treatments, and self-care strategies to support understanding and compliance. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and maintain effective communication across the care team. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Basic Life Support / CPR certification (required). - 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred). - Strong organizational, multitasking, and abstract-reasoning skills to assess patients and revise care plans based on outcomes. - Proficiency in English (read, verbal, and written) and basic computer navigation skills. ### What's included - Hourly pay range of $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annually). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth South Orlando is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system committed to whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
