Nursing Assistant CNA Full Time Nights Float Pool

A full-time night-shift Nursing Assistant (CNA) role with AdventHealth at their Shawnee Mission campus in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, supporting inpatient care through a float pool assignment. ### What you'll do - Assist licensed nurses in delivering direct patient care across multiple units as part of the float pool - Accurately obtain and document vital signs in the electronic medical record - Perform patient care duties and document all procedures in accordance with department policy - Respond appropriately within scope during clinical emergencies - Follow CDC isolation guidelines, apply correct PPE, and enforce facility safety regulations - Support quality and performance improvement initiatives as care practices evolve ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - BLS/CPR certification (required) - CNA certification (preferred) - Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) certification (preferred) - EMT certification (preferred) - 1+ year of PCT or applicable patient care experience (preferred) ### What's included - Pay range: $16.26–$26.02/hour (~$33,821–$54,122 annually) - Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave - Mental health and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is a full-service acute care hospital located in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health networks in the country.
