PACU RN $52.50/hr StaffFlex Contract

A PACU RN StaffFlex (PRN) role at AdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based acute-care hospital in Tampa, Florida, providing post-anesthesia recovery nursing on day shift. ### What you'll do - Monitor and manage post-operative patients in the PACU, delivering competent and compassionate pain management per policy - Administer medications accurately as ordered and provide oxygen support for patients requiring respiratory assistance - Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, procedures, disease processes, and discharge instructions from admission through discharge - Assist physicians with bedside procedures and manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges - Respond to unit and hospital code situations and maintain a safe care environment - Evaluate and revise the nursing care plan based on patient outcomes, and document all education and interventions provided ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida - Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting - BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC also required - Associate degree in Nursing (or higher) - Strong abstract reasoning skills to assess patients, evaluate interventions, and revise plans of care - Proficiency in English (read, verbal, and written) and basic computer navigation skills ### What's included - Hourly rate of $52.50 (PRN/StaffFlex contract) - Day-shift scheduling flexibility as a PRN team member ### About the practice AdventHealth Tampa is part of the AdventHealth system, a nationally recognized faith-based nonprofit health network.
