Supervisor for Respiratory Care - Dade City

AdventHealth Dade City is hiring a full-time Respiratory Care Supervisor to lead the respiratory therapy department at its hospital campus in Dade City, Florida. ### What you'll do - Oversee scheduling and staffing to ensure efficient use of department resources and labor - Serve as liaison between frontline respiratory staff and department leadership, escalating issues promptly - Maintain clinical competencies and assist with direct patient care duties when needed - Monitor staff activities in the clinical setting to ensure adherence to department and facility policies - Conduct performance appraisals, provide counseling, and initiate progressive discipline as warranted - Lead and develop educational processes for team members and assume manager responsibilities in the manager's absence ### What we're looking for - Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science (Bachelor's preferred) - State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure and NBRC RRT credential, both required - BLS/CPR certification required - Minimum 3 years of critical care respiratory therapy experience - Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills, including respiratory therapy-driven protocol management - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across interdisciplinary teams ### What's included - Pay range: $31.55–$58.69/hr ($65,624–$122,075 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Pet benefits, mental health resources, and whole-person well-being programs ### About the practice AdventHealth Dade City is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network operating across multiple states.
