About this role
A Music Therapist at AdventHealth serves patients of all ages across two Orlando, Florida locations, delivering individualized and group music therapy within a clinical setting.
### What you'll do
- Conduct patient assessments and administer music therapy to individuals across all age groups
- Lead both individual and group music therapy sessions
- Monitor equipment safety to maintain safe and efficient center operations
- Perform administrative duties, identify operational needs, and recommend improvements to management
- Communicate assessment findings and treatment progress to patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
### What we're looking for
- Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC via CBMT) — required
- Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy — required
- Neurologic Music Therapist (NMT) credential — preferred
- At least 1 year of music therapy experience in a medical setting — preferred
- Entry-level competency in music therapy practice, theory, principles, and clinical applications
- Effective clinical musicianship skills and basic proficiency with Microsoft Office

AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states, with a strong presence in Central Florida. The Early Learning Center location in Orlando supports a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit. This part-time role follows a set weekly schedule: Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, and Thursdays 2:00–6:00 PM.
