About this role
A Mammography Technologist role at AdventHealth's AH Imaging Center Celeb Pointe, located in Celebration, Florida, performing 2D and 3D breast imaging in a dedicated outpatient breast center.
### What you'll do
- Perform 2D and 3D mammography exams, positioning patients and adjusting technical factors and compression to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
- Follow all MQSA, FDA, and ACR guidelines, including daily quality control testing, equipment performance checks, and required documentation.
- Maintain accurate records in the EMR and PACS systems, ensuring timely and complete documentation for each exam.
- Collaborate with radiologists and the breast imaging team to communicate results and coordinate next steps, including recalls, additional imaging, and biopsy scheduling.
- Ensure patient safety, identification, comfort, and informed consent prior to every exam, explaining procedures clearly and professionally.
- Support breast center initiatives including accreditation preparation, community screening events, and quality improvement activities.
### What we're looking for
- Active ARRT registration in both Radiography RT(R) and Mammography RT(M) required.
- Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- Working knowledge of MQSA, ACR regulations, and radiation safety principles (ALARA).
- Proficiency with PACS systems and basic computer skills, including EMR documentation.

The Thursday–Saturday 6:30 AM–7:00 PM schedule offers an extended-shift, three-day workweek structure.
