AdventHealth Winter Garden is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Medical/Telemetry unit in Winter Garden, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments spanning physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual dimensions to guide individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and maintaining safety protocols.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies to support compliance and recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments to coordinate care, ensuring timely and accurate communication across the team.
- Maintain complete, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
- Respond to code situations promptly, providing stabilizing interventions and supervising delegated care to nursing team members.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida — required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- EKG interpretation skills per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and abstract clinical-reasoning abilities.
- At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred; new graduates considered.

AdventHealth Winter Garden is a community hospital located at 2000 Fowler Grove Blvd, serving the rapidly growing Winter Garden area west of Orlando. The facility operates as part of AdventHealth, a large faith-based not-for-profit health system with a mission centered on whole-person care. The Medical/Telemetry unit provides continuous cardiac monitoring alongside general medical nursing in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
