AdventHealth Gordon in Calhoun, Georgia is seeking a full-time Director of Nursing (DON) to provide executive-level nursing leadership across clinical and operational departments. ### What you'll do - Lead nursing teams across multiple hospital departments, driving a culture of accountability, engagement, and professional growth - Develop and implement policies, procedures, and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance and best-practice care delivery - Manage the annual departmental budget in coordination with finance, monitoring resource utilization and adjusting as needed - Recruit, retain, and develop nursing leadership talent, building strong succession pipelines across the organization - Serve as a communication liaison between nursing staff, other departments, and hospital administration to support seamless care coordination - Oversee staff orientation, competency validation, in-service training, and ongoing education programs ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia (required) - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required); Master of Science in Nursing (preferred) - 2+ years of nursing leadership experience (required) - 2+ years of direct nursing experience (required); 5+ years preferred - BLS/CPR certification (required) - Demonstrated competency in strategic planning, financial management, and multi-department leadership ### What's included - Salary range: $98,915 – $183,977 per year - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources, whole-person well-being programs, and pet benefits ### About the practice AdventHealth Gordon is a community hospital located in Calhoun, Georgia, part of the AdventHealth system — a faith-based, not-for-profit health network operating across multiple states.
