About this role
AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a full-time Cardiovascular ICU RN for its Night Shift Training Program at its Daytona Beach, Florida hospital.
### What you'll do
- Assess and interpret diagnostic data — including lab results, non-invasive monitoring data, and interdisciplinary notes — to guide nursing diagnoses and care decisions.
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized plans of care with measurable short- and long-range patient goals.
- Complete timely, comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Communicate clinical handoffs thoroughly and interact with patients and families using appropriate language and hourly rounding.
- Adhere to regulatory standards, infection prevention protocols, and medication safety requirements.
- Support department quality initiatives, participate in process improvement, and fulfill all required continuing education.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's of Nursing preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- Demonstrated EKG competency appropriate to cardiovascular patient population.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
- New graduates welcome — no prior experience required; this is a structured training program.
