About this role

AdventHealth Castle Rock is hiring a full-time Pre-Surgery/Recovery Room RN for day shifts at its Castle Rock, Colorado campus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative assessments covering physiological, psychological, and sociocultural factors. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and current standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on conditions, procedures, medications, and post-discharge self-care. - Collaborate with surgical teams and ancillary departments to coordinate safe, effective perioperative care. ### What we're looking for - Active RN license in Colorado (required); BLS/CPR certification (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred). - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills for a fast-paced surgical environment. - EKG competency per unit requirements; proficiency with Windows-based clinical systems. ### What's included - Pay range: $34.26–$59.24/hr ($71,261–$123,219 annualized). - Sign-on bonus eligible. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One; 4 weeks 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan; career development and well-being resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Castle Rock is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states.
