About this role
AdventHealth Ocala is hiring a full-time night-shift Emergency Department RN (7p–7a) at its acute care hospital in Ocala, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on findings and medical diagnoses
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans to achieve optimal outcomes
- Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established emergency and critical care protocols
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive patient care
- Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in real time within the EMR
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to maintain high-quality, safe care delivery
### What we're looking for
- Active RN license in Florida (required)
- Minimum 1 year of ER RN experience in an acute care setting (required)
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (required)
- EKG knowledge appropriate to ED patient population (required)
- CEN, TNCC, or other emergency nursing certifications (preferred)
