AdventHealth Castle Rock is hiring a full-time RN for the Pre-Surgery and Recovery unit in Castle Rock, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments evaluating physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and ancillary departments to coordinate perioperative patient care.
- Apply EKG interpretation skills as required by patient population and unit protocols.
### What we're looking for
- Active Colorado RN license (required).
- BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Minimum 1 year of pre-surgery nursing experience.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and team-based communication skills.

- Hourly pay range: $34.26–$59.24 (annualized approximately $71,261–$123,219).
