About this role
A full-time weekend Sonographer role at AdventHealth South Orlando, a faith-based health system located in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams across a broad range of modalities in accordance with provider orders and established protocols
- Acquire and analyze ultrasound images, waveforms, and Doppler data; complete technologist worksheets to support radiologist review and dictation
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EMR and PACS systems; verify patient identity and exam appropriateness prior to scanning
- Educate patients about procedures, ensure comfort and privacy, and manage workflow to minimize downtime between exams
- Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of care
- Maintain exam room cleanliness, equipment safety checks, and infection control standards including approved PPE protocols
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- 1+ year of position-related sonography experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of ultrasound physics, cross-sectional and vascular anatomy, and Doppler techniques
- Proficiency with PACS applications and radiology software; basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Experience with specialized modalities (Breast, Prostate, OR, Pediatric, Neuro, or Vascular sonography) preferred

- Pay range: $28.68–$58.69/hr (~$59,654–$122,075 annualized)
